is all I felt was needed for my flower border....
The flowers and leaves etc were first stamped in soft granite and then to highlight just a couple of the flowers I used a warm sunshine inkpad (I love this warm sunshiny yellow inkpad)?
A simple grey sentiment stamped in charcoal grey onto a silver grey card-stock was all that was needed to complete my card, lifted with some foam tape...oh and a couple of clear dewdrops....enjoy.
The challenge this week from Less is More is grey and yellow, also entering this card for the Paper Shelter, flowers theme

What a beautiful card, Susan! The delicate stems and florals are so pretty, and work perfectly in our challenge colour scheme with the subtle greys letting the yellow flowers and buds really pop. Gorgeous! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)
ReplyDeleteYour card is beautiful Susan! I love the stamp you used and the colours are great together. Thanks for joining us at The Paper Shelter challenge this week. Patsy xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card, such a soft, feminine look. I love the added sentiment strip that adds great contrast to the delicate images. Thanks for joining us at Less Is More!
ReplyDeleteThe warm touches of yellow provide a beautiful contrast to the cool greys, Susan! I love these florals - they create such a fresh, sketchy look. Lots of lovely white space too! Thank you so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)
